1987年9月首届国际陶瓷工业展在广州创办,参展商共73家,来自中国、日本、德国、英国、美国、意大利、新加坡、澳大利亚、荷兰、中国香港等10个国家和地区。其中国内展商(不含香港)30家。

 

In September 1987, CERAMICS CHINA was founded in Guangzhou with 73 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions including China, Japan, Germany, UK, USA, Italy, Singapore, Australia, Netherlands, and Hong Kong. 

 

 

1989年第二届国际陶瓷工业展日期调整到6月,参展商总数为66家(国外企业44家,中国企业22家)。继德国展团、日本展团在首届展会上双双亮相后,由19家企业组成的英国展团现身本届展会。日用陶瓷生产加工工艺成为当届展会的亮点之一。

 

 

In 1989, the total number of exhibitors was 66 (44 foreign enterprises  and 22 Chinese enterprises). UK pavilion consisting of 19 companies appeared in the exhibition. The production and processing technology of tableware ceramic became one of the highlights of the exhibition.

 

 

1991年,第三届国际陶瓷工业展的展览规模相比第二届略有增长,国外参展企业35家,中国内地展商32家,中国香港和台湾企业9家,共计76家。中国政府首次开放台湾同胞回大陆探亲,这一政策促使一批台湾企业成为展会座上宾。

 

The scale of CERAMICS CHINA 1991 was slightly higher than the 2nd edition. There were 35 foreign exhibitors, 32 mainland China exhibitors, and 9 companies from Hong Kong and Taiwan. Taiwanese companies firstly appeared in the exhibition.

 

 

1992年6月,陶瓷工业展移至北京举办,命名为“北京国际陶瓷技术与装备展览会”。更多境外企业开始关注和参加展会,多家意大利企业参展,通过这一平台进军中国市场。展览范围从日用陶瓷生产工艺向建陶卫浴生产工艺转变。

 

In June 1992, CERAMICS CHINA was held in Beijing and more overseas companies began to pay attention to the exhibition. A number of Italian companies participated in the exhibition and entered the Chinese market through this platform. Exhibits range diversified from tableware ceramic production technology to ceramic tile and sanitaryware production technology.

 

 

1994年北京国际陶瓷技术与装备展览会上,全场最大规模的兆峰陶瓷集团展位成为吸引眼球的亮点。

 

In CERAMICS CHINA 1994, the largest booth of Siu-Fung Ceramics Group became the eye-catching highlight.

 

  

1996年,意大利对外贸易委员会组织本国企业以国家展团形式参展。众多国外企业的参与令陶瓷工业展的知名度和影响力迅速提高,备受国内外陶瓷行业人士瞩目。突破各种限制的国内企业参展意识开始萌发,当年国内参展商数量约占总数的40% 。

 

In 1996, Italian companies, organized by Italian Trade Commission (ICE), participated in the exhibition as a national pavilion. The influence of CERAMICS CHINA has rapidly increased and it has attracted attention from domestic and foreign ceramic insiders. Chinese local companies began to pay great attention to the show, while the proportion of domestic exhibitors accounted for 40% of total.

 

 

1997年,为适应专业化、国际化发展的需要,展会更名为“中国国际陶瓷工业展览会”,并移师蜚名中外的中国出口商品交易会展馆(流花路旧馆)举办。国内外参展企业在数量上首次达到均衡,改变了历年以国外企业为主的格局,预示中国陶瓷行业正呈上升趋势发展。

 

In 1997, the exhibition name has been formally changed to China International Ceramics Industry Exhibition, while the venue also moved to the world-famous Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Meanwhile, the proportion of overseas and domestic exhibitors has firstly been reasonable.

 

 

1999年,展览总面积已经达到10,000平方米。意大利、德国、英国、日本、台湾五大展团已颇具阵容,中国陶瓷企业正在迅速成长。

 

In 1999, with five big pavilions namely as Italian Pavilion, German Pavilion, UK Pavilion, Japan Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion, the total show space reached 10,000 sqm. Chinese ceramic companies are growing rapidly.

 

 

2000年,展会在北京举办,250余家企业齐聚一堂,汇聚建陶卫浴及日用陶瓷最新产品与领先科技的展会,昭示着一个新世纪的到来。

 

In 2000, CERAMICS CHINA was held in Beijing that attracted more than 250 exhibitors, which indicated new era with the showcase of the latest products and technologies of ceramic tile, sanitaryware and tableware.

 

 

2003年,亚洲第一大展馆——广州国际会展中心在琶洲建成并投入使用。展会移至新馆并从此落户广州。展会顶住SARS危机压力,并迎来西班牙展团的首度亮相。展览总面积达到15,000平方米,再次引起国内外陶业人士的瞩目。

 

In 2003, CERAMICS CHINA was held in GICEC, the biggest exhibition center in Asia. It also welcomed the first participation of Spanish Pavilion with a total show space of 15,000sqm.

 

 

2004年,第十八届广州陶瓷工业展的展览面积首次突破20,000平方米。

 

In 2004, The exhibition scale of CERAMICS CHINA exceeded 20,000 square meters for the first time.

 

 

2006年,广州陶瓷工业展的展览规模从两万多平方米跃升至41,700平方米,创历届之最。展会首次按产品类别划分专业展区,受到展商和买家的一致赞许。参展商总数353家,其中新企业比例高达35%。四天展期共吸引了51个国家和地区的32,811名观众到场参观采购。

 

The total show space of 41,700sqm with an ever high proportion of 35% of new exhibitors and 32,811 buyers from 51 countries and regions made CERAMICS CHINA 2016 a great success.

 

 

2008年,展览规模再上新台阶,达53,200平方米。参展商总数427家,其中新展商149家,占比35%。韩国企业首次以展团形式参展。主承办方在展会现场发起了“中国陶瓷界人士及国际友人赈灾募捐活动”,号召全行业人士积极捐赠献爱心,并带头向汶川地震灾区捐款20余万元。

 

In 2008, the total show space reached a new level, 53,200 square meters with 427 exhibitors (including 149 new exhibitors). CERAMICS CHINA welcomed the first participation of Korean pavilion. Charity donation for Wenchuan Earthquake showed great sympathy of the ceramics industry.

 

 

2010年,展会规模达到66,800平方米,来自16个国家和地区的609家企业集聚一堂,约3,000台陶瓷机械设备在现场展出。吸引了以亚非拉为主的72个国家和地区的46,497名贸易采购商到场参观采购。

 

In 2010, the exhibition scale reached 66,800 square meters. It has attracted 609 companies from 16 countries and regions, which marked a new height in its history. With somewhat 3,000 ceramic machines display, it has attracted 46,497 buyers from 72 countries and regions, mainly in Asia, Africa and Latin America, to visit and purchase.

 

 

2011年,主承办方启用新的展会名称“中国国际陶瓷工业技术与产品展览会”,展览规模达到69200平方米,参展企业652家,观众51746人。她再一次向全球陶瓷行业展示出强劲的发展势头和巨大的发展潜力。

 

In 2011, the organizer launched the new exhibition name “China International Exhibition for Ceramics Technology, Equipment and Products” with an exhibition scale of 69,200 square meters, 652 exhibiting companies and 51,746 visitors. It once again showed the great and strong potential to the global ceramics industry.

 

 

2013年的广州陶瓷工业展又一次在展览规模上取得重大突破,首次占据广交会琶洲展馆A区一楼全部八个展厅,总面积达78,600平方米,参展商总数764家,国内外买家总数达63,689人。

 

In 2013, CERAMICS CHINA once again achieved a major breakthrough in the exhibition scale. It occupied all eight exhibition halls with a total show space of 78,600sqm, 764 exhibitors and 63,689 visitors from home and abroad.

 

 

2015年6月1日,广州陶瓷工业展以86,500平方米的展览规模盛大开幕,不仅在规模上稳居“全球第一大”陶瓷工业盛会,更在办展实力、展会服务和国际化程度上均有了显著提升。

 

 

On June of 2015, CERAMICS CHINA opened with an exhibition scale of 86,500 square meters. It was not only the world’s largest exhibition in ceramics industry, but also the most potential one.

 

 

2017年,在广州陶瓷工业展三十周年这个里程碑式的节点上,我们又一次创造了新的纪录,展览规模突破10万平方米,首次启用了广交会展馆两层楼共九个展厅,汇聚23个国家和地区的963家展商,集中展示尖端技术和最新产品,展期四天共吸引81个国家和地区的80,639位买家到场参观采购。

 

On the milestone occasion of the 30th anniversary of CERAMICS CHINA in 2017, the new record has been again updated with the total show space of over 100,000 square meters with 963 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, and 80,639 buyers from 81 countries and regions.
